Healing from head to toe.

Therapeutic touch, intuitively applied.

A perfect union of wellness + luxury.

My path as a licensed massage therapist began in May of 2011 when I graduated from the Universal College of Healing Arts in Omaha. Since then, my healing practice has evolved to include a growing list of tools and modalities that continue to inspire my work. Most recently I've added Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy - officially making my feet certified healing tools!

With a strong foundation of Swedish massage and myofascial release, each bodywork session is adapted to treat each client for individualized care and lasting results - working with what the body needs that day. Combining modalities such as deep-tissue, gua sha and henna in a longer session is a great way to explore new treatments.

See below for more information on some of my favorite modalities

Massage Offerings

Therapeutic massage

Well-known for its relaxing effects and broad range of benefits, Swedish therapeutic massage reaches deep into muscle tissue for improvement in blood + lymph circulation, muscle tone and range of motion. Varied rhythm and pressure release areas of tension by working with large muscle groups. This modality is the foundation for most of my work as a massage therapist.

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT)- or Ashi for short- is the most luxurious deep tissue massage available. I use my bare feet to administer smooth gliding strokes to relax, relieve muscle tension and help improve circulation. Because the foot is a larger, broader surface, pressure is felt on a larger surface area than what can be experienced with the hand. This technique is applied with clean soft feet while holding onto two overhead parallel bars for support. Many individuals say they will never go back to regular massage after trying Ashi!

Ashi-Thai

A fantastic full-body stretch sesh! Ashi-Thai is an adaptation of traditional Thai massage that combines compressive techniques and passive stretches giving the client deep relief, lengthening and relieving tightness in commonly used muscle groups. These sessions are performed fully clothed, without the use of oils or creams. Please come dressed in comfortable pants and a long-sleeved shirt that allow for stretching and movement (as you might wear to the gym or yoga).

Restorative Ashi

This grounding 90 minute yin-yoga-inspired session is not only relaxing, but the effects afterward reach deep and are long-lasting. In this clothed bodywork session, your therapist will guide you through different poses that you will comfortably rest in for 5 to 15 minutes. Use of a variety of bolsters and pillows will ensure comfort while gentle massage is applied, allowing your joints and muscles to relax into a gentle, yet deceptively-deep stretch and release. Select from a Heart Opening, Hip Opening, Balancing, or Inward Flow sequence when you book. Please come dressed in comfortable pants and a long-sleeved shirt that allow for stretching and movement (as you might wear to the gym or yoga).

Gua Sha

A modality adapted from Traditional Chinese Medicine for deep release and lasting results. Using compression/scraping, gua sha breaks up stagnation and toxin build up deep within the tissue by opening blood vessels and increasing circulation. This technique has profound results and is typically applied as a focused treatment integrated with any therapeutic massage session. Select it as an add on when you book online!

Myofascial Release (MFR)

One of my favorite modalities and usually blended in with every session, Myofascial release works with the fascia, the soft tissues that encase the muscles and organs of the body to lengthen and stretch them. Releasing the fascia is a deep-reaching and lasting way to relieve chronic pain and tension and improve mobility throughout the body.

Abdominal Massage

This technique is a self-massage technique that can usually be learned in 2-3 sessions. When practiced regularly abdominal massage can provide relief issues relating to reproductive and digestive health. This self-applied massage is a relaxing treatment that takes 10-15 minutes and is a wonderful way to show yourself some daily care at bedtime, or just upon waking in the morning. *please contact me directly to book this service
