Henna has opened the world to me in many ways. Traveling to work, learn and experience the art is possibly the most unexpected gift I have this plant to thank for.

Southern Exposure Tulum was more than your average henna conference! In September of 2019 I had the pleasure of joining a group of amazing henna artists for a destination retreat in Mexico and had the chance to begin my own journey in Photography. Of course we learned and experienced so much more! Here are some of the photos that I took of my beautiful henna model Hoku plus a couple of other shots that were captured of her.
